"Cultural heritage from people to a United Europe"

LOCAL ACTIVITIES

The first meeting with the beneficiaries has been made last 30th september 2006 at 3.30pm in Carbonera (TV).

It has been a good partecipation of immigrants, and many countries represented:

Bangladesh, Macedonia, Marocco, Romania, Nigeria, Albania, Italy and Kosovo.

We explained the project to the participants, and they fill in the questionnaire prepared togheter with the partners.

The second meeting with the beneficiaries has been made on 25th november 2006 with partecipations of news beneficiaries from Italy and Romania. After a small presentation of the project, we explained them something about the first meeting with the partners in Targu Jiu showing them movies and pictures, and telling also the activities we made and the decisions we took about the next steps of the project. We also present the logo of the project painted by Alessia Del Vecchio open a discussion about the meaning and symbols of the draw. The painting which took ispiration from the "table of silence" of Brancusi has been accepted with a great enthusiasm. We invited the beneficiaries to make a homework about "the old and actual cultural traditions in their families" talking with their parents and relatives.

Eurogems has done the english course for the staff october 2006 - december 2006.

The third meeting has been last saturday 27th january 2007. During these meeting we met some news beneficiaries, including a partecipation from Senegal, and some new guys from Macedonia. We presented the next activities for 2007 and we talked about cultural heritage and traditions of Senegal and Macedonia, the islamic traditions, the intregration of immigrants in the local community and expecially in Treviso.
